Your drivers license or passport does not contain emergency contact information. If you are involved in an emergency situation it is up to local law enforcement officials to get it contact with your next of kin or designated person.

In addition, First Responders have no way of knowing your medical history, the medications you take or who your physician is. Their main focus is to get you the care that you need at the moment.

What is the Emergency Medical Identification Card?

An Emergency Medical Identification Card allows you the ability to always have on hand your important medical information such as emergency contacts to be notified in case of an emergency as well as listing your physician’s name and number; your medical issues and any medications you take.

About our Emergency Identification Card

Our Emergency Medical Identification Card allows you to list up to two emergency contact’s name and number along with information about up to 2 doctors who treat you. It also allows you to list any allergies you may have and list your medications and the medical conditions you have

Our Emergency ID Card also gives you the ability to update your information at any time. By using a QR code, a first responder can scan the code and get access to your updated information. In other words, you can update your information without requesting a new card though a new card can certainly be requested.

Cost of the Emergency ID Card

The initial cost to obtain and Emergency Identification Card is $20.00 which includes first class postage. Additional cards may be obtained at a cost of $15.00 per card including first class postage. Priority mailing of your card can be requested at the current rate charged by the United States Postal Service. Each card is printed on a plastic credit card size card that easily fits into your wallet or purse.

Photo requirements for your Emergency Identification Card

We ask that you please adhere to the following requirements when submitting a photo for your Emergency ID Card:

  1. All photos submitted must be in color.
  2. The person who is named on the ID Card is the only person that appears in the photo.
  3. The Pixel size of your photo should not exceed 600x600
  4. If you wish, you may use a passport photo as your photo however, we ask that you not copy your drivers license photo as it comes out blurry.

Payment

Payment is accepted in the form of credit cards only and is due at the time of ordering your Emergency ID Card.

Processing Time

Emergency ID Cards are processed within 5 business days of payment being received.

Mailing Time

Unfortunately, we cannot control the USPS when it comes to the delivery of mail. However, generally speaking the average delivery time when placed with the Postal Service is 4 to 5 days from the date of mailing. If you should opt to pay for Priority Mail, then the delivery time takes 3 to 4 days and includes tracking. First Class mail does not include tracking.
